Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is now available! What could we expect? Despite the saga of Resident Evil is considered one of the founders of survival horror genre, it certainly cannot say that this series, in today's analysis, has exactly the same characteristics of the first titles appeared since 1996. Over the years, Capcom were accustomed to progressive changes, but no less radical. Since 2005, instead of drawing with both hands from the films to transcribe the letter of the same emotions that everyone used to find on the big screen, Capcom wanted to break away from the pace and typical gameplay of the saga. Improved controls such as maneuverability and exponentially and increasing the number of zombies invaded the gamers, the software has coined a style approach. It's not a surprise that Capcom has decided to continue this process of renewal and experimentation with the newly revealed Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, a spin-off that seems traditional and revolutionary which occur at the same time.
Many of the purists will be thrown off by Resident Evil Raccoon City to find that now presented to us by Capcom years ago and characterized by narrow streets and shady seems to have given way to a sort of makeover. Even at this juncture, in fact, the guys at Slant Six Games seem to have had to stretch the rules to fit the best scenario of Resident Evil 2 and 3 to a third-person shooter. The results of this operation are widened and more spacious roads, but no less dark. A choice that is rather forced in a way in which, apparently, the hordes of zombies abound. We will then see the return of historical locations such as, for example, the station stands out in front of which we had the opportunity to go in Resident Evil 2.
The basic concept of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is to show all of the complex background events in Resident Evil 2. This will allow you to relieve the same conditions of the license back in 1998 yet this time it is wearing the clothes of the Umbrella Security Service and in particular of four shady characters: Vector, Bertha, Spectre, and Beltway. The gamers will play against par excellence Enemy. There are some modes in this game. Team Attack with the aim of killing the enemy as much as possible. The second is a biohazard mode, with a mission to send virus samples to headquarters. Next up is the Survivors mode, where gamers must survive until the helicopter that will pick up come with a stand of waves of enemy attacks. And last is the mode of Heroes, with a mission to kill or keep the main character of Resident Evil remains alive until the game ends.
In general, the title, as regards its visual appearance and style, seems to have returned to the colors and tones of the origins of the series. What seems to be expected in Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City are whole parts of the game poorly lit, the post-apocalyptic made even more disturbing by the presence of the classic dead bodies and bloodied, but also members of the Umbrella Corp by, many of them will appear fully clothed in black leather, protected by a helmet of the same color and armed to the teeth.
